Lake Sunapee Region Real Estate Sales December 2011

This past December, home sales in the Lake Sunapee Region were down 26.3% when compared to December 2010. The end of year numbers which I will be publishing here soon are quite interesting. The total number of home sales for 2011 were up by four transactions compared to 2010. Stay tuned for more in depth look at the 2011 real estate and land sales for the region!

The lack of snow here in New Hampshire has been a bit brutal but we’ve finally had some cold weather this week and Mount Sunapee has been cranking out the snow as fast as they can. One nice part about the cold temps and lack of snow is that the lakes are frozen over and are great for ice boating/sailing. I watched a bunch of people on Otter Pond sailing across the ice the other day but unfortunately I didn’t have time to stop and take pictures. However, to show you the intensity I included an awesome video below from last year on Lake Winnipsaukee…looks like one heck of rush!
